Saskatchewan SINP Application Fees 2026: New $500 Fee for Skilled Worker Streams

Saskatchewan announced a new application processing fee for certain Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program skilled-worker applications effective April 1, 2026. Applicants considering a provincial nomination should confirm the current stream requirements, fees and intake rules directly with the Government of Saskatchewan before applying.
What applicants should check
Provincial nominee programs can change intake procedures, eligibility requirements, occupational priorities and application fees. A candidate who appeared eligible under an earlier version of a stream should not assume that the same requirements remain in effect.
- Confirm that the relevant SINP stream is accepting applications.
- Review the current provincial application fee.
- Verify employer and job-offer requirements where applicable.
- Check licensing requirements for regulated occupations.
- Confirm federal permanent residence requirements after nomination.
Provincial nomination is only one stage
A provincial nomination does not by itself grant permanent residence. After nomination, the applicant must still meet the applicable federal requirements, including admissibility requirements, before permanent residence can be granted.
