Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Saskatchewan SINP 2026: Employment Offer, Saskatchewan Experience, Agriculture, Health, Innovation and Tech and current Express Entry pathways.

2026 SINP selection

Saskatchewan continues to operate multiple worker pathways, including Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry, alongside employer-supported and sector pathways. Selection can be affected by provincial priorities, occupation restrictions and nomination caps. Applicants should also review our 2026 SINP application-fee update. Review the current SINP eligibility information.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) supports provincial labour-market needs through worker pathways, with significant 2026 emphasis on priority sectors. Saskatchewan permanently closed its Entrepreneur and Farm immigration pathways to new applications in March 2025, so they are not presented below as current application options.

SINP , Current Worker Pathways

International Skilled Worker , Employment Offer

This pathway is for eligible skilled workers with a permanent, full-time job offer from an approved Saskatchewan employer in an eligible occupation. Applicants must meet the program’s work-experience, licensing where applicable, language and points requirements and obtain the required employer documentation.

Agriculture Talent Pathway

This pathway supports eligible workers with permanent full-time Saskatchewan job offers in designated agriculture and agri-food occupations. Applicants must meet occupation, experience, language, education and employer requirements. Agriculture is a Saskatchewan priority sector for 2026.

Health Talent Pathway

The Health Talent Pathway supports eligible health-sector workers with qualifying Saskatchewan employment. It can accommodate candidates with or without a federal Express Entry profile, subject to the applicable requirements. Professional licensing or regulatory eligibility is critical where the occupation is regulated.

Innovation and Tech Talent Pathway

This pathway targets eligible workers in designated technology and innovation occupations with qualifying Saskatchewan job offers. Candidates must meet the applicable work-experience, language, education and employer requirements; an Express Entry-aligned option may apply to eligible federal pool candidates.

Saskatchewan Experience , Existing Work Permit

This category is intended for eligible foreign nationals already working and living in Saskatchewan on qualifying work authorization. The applicant generally needs a permanent full-time offer from an approved employer and the required period of Saskatchewan work experience. Work-permit type and sector rules matter significantly in 2026.

Saskatchewan Experience , Student

This pathway addresses eligible graduates with Saskatchewan study and employment. Saskatchewan has specific 2026 rules for graduates and work-permit holders, and has reserved nomination capacity for Saskatchewan post-secondary graduates working in designated priority sectors.

Occupations In-Demand

This International Skilled Worker sub-category is for eligible high-skilled workers who do not have a Saskatchewan job offer, meet the SINP points-grid and other eligibility requirements, and have qualifying experience in an occupation that is eligible under the current SINP rules. Candidates submit an International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest and must be invited before applying. Occupation exclusions and provincial selection conditions must be checked at the time of application.

Saskatchewan Express Entry

This sub-category is for eligible high-skilled workers who do not need a Saskatchewan job offer, are already accepted into the federal Express Entry pool, score at least the required SINP points-grid threshold and meet Saskatchewan’s current provincial criteria. Candidates use the SINP Expression of Interest system and must be invited before applying. A provincial nomination and the federal Express Entry process remain distinct stages, and the applicant must maintain federal eligibility.

2026 Priority and Capped Sectors

Saskatchewan’s 2026 priority sectors include health care, agriculture, skilled trades, mining, manufacturing, energy and technology. Accommodation and food services, trucking and retail are capped sectors with separate allocation constraints. These sector rules can materially affect when and how a candidate may apply.

Entrepreneur and Farm pathways closed

Saskatchewan permanently closed its Entrepreneur and Farm immigration pathways to new applications, EOIs and invitations effective March 27, 2025. Existing files continue to be processed, but these are not current pathways for new applicants.

Compare Your Provincial Options

A provincial pathway should be assessed against alternatives before filing because eligibility, invitations and nomination allocations can change.
