Clear advice, careful preparation and professional representation for your Canadian immigration matter.

International Graduate is a PEI Provincial Nominee Program pathway for eligible recent graduates of recognized publicly funded Prince Edward Island post-secondary institutions who have qualifying employment with an eligible PEI employer.

Program Overview

This pathway is specific to qualifying PEI graduates and should not be confused with a general provincial route for graduates from institutions elsewhere in Canada. The credential, graduation history, post-graduation work authorization, PEI job offer, employer and current provincial criteria must be reviewed together.

Expression of Interest and Selection

Eligible candidates generally proceed through PEI's Expression of Interest system. An EOI is not an application or guarantee of nomination. PEI may select candidates based on ranking, labour-market priorities and available nomination spaces.

Employment and Status

The applicant should maintain valid immigration status and qualifying PEI employment throughout the relevant process. The job offer, occupation, hours and employer must meet current program requirements. Changes to employment, work authorization or other material circumstances can affect eligibility.

After Nomination

A provincial nomination does not itself grant permanent residence. The applicant must complete the applicable federal permanent residence process and satisfy federal admissibility requirements.

Immigration criteria, document requirements and public policies can change. Advice should be based on the rules and facts applicable when you apply.
